RiCables Dedalus Signal

The Ricable Dedalus Signal XLR (model designation series DX) is a handcrafted high-end analog interconnect cable made in Italy. Positioned directly below Ricable’s flagship Invictus line, it is engineered for hi-fi setups connecting components like DACs, preamps, stream players, and power amplifiers via balanced XLR.

• Conductors: Uses 0.55 mm² MARC (Multicore Annealed Ricable Conductor) 7N (99.99999% pure) monocrystalline copper. The wire strands are extremely fine (0.08 mm), which Ricable claims allows for 70% better transmission than standard OFC copper.
• Geometry: Semi-balanced directional geometry with conductors roped and detorsioned to relieve internal mechanical stress.
• Shielding & Insulation: Features double shielding (copper braided mesh plus aluminum/mylar) and R-TEC technopolymers as dielectrics to minimize capacitance and reject RFI/EMI interference.
• Germanium RNR: Employs an inline Germanium semiconductor block (Ricable Noise Reduction) along the cable run designed to lower the background noise floor.
• Connectors: Custom 100% copper RCA plugs (rather than standard brass) with an expanding center-pin mechanism for a tight connection and 24K gold plating applied via a specialized gold/copper electrolysis process.
