Positioned in the upper-tier of Ricable’s lineup (just below their flagship Invictus series), the MKII version updates the original Dedalus design with improved shielding, refined dielectrics, and upgraded conductor geometry.

Core Specs & Design

  • Conductor: MARC 7N Monocrystalline Copper (99.99999% pure). It uses an expansive cross-sectional area of 2 × 6.40 mm² (~9 AWG) made up of 750 individual 0.10 mm strands.

  • Shielding & Noise Reduction: Features double shielding (aluminum/Mylar foil plus an OFC copper braid) along with Ricable’s RNR (Ricable Noise Reduction) technology to eliminate EMI and RFI interference.
  • Insulation: R-TEC™ dual-layer polymer dielectric designed for structural neutrality and lower capacitance.
  • Connectors: Oversized BFA banana plugs or spades made of solid Copper-Tellurium with 24K gold plating applied via a specialized electrolysis technique.
  • Electrical Parameters: Resistance of 3.4 Ω/km and low capacitance of 50 pF/m.
  • Build: Covered in a durable, flexible textile sleeve with directional arrows clearly marking the proper signal path from amplifier to speaker. Includes a lifetime warranty.
