Dragon 48 features high-purity Solid 100% Silver conductors and Level 7 Noise-Dissipation for the most efficient dissipation of radio-frequency noise.

The Dragon 48 is built to the HDMI 2.1 standard, but its materials exceed basic requirements to minimize electrical noise.

  • Bandwidth: 48Gbps (supports 8K/60, 4K/120, and even up to 10K resolution).

  • Conductors: 100% Perfect-Surface Silver (PSS). This is the highest grade of metal AudioQuest uses. Silver is a better conductor than copper, and the "Perfect-Surface" processing minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries.
  • 72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS): A battery pack attached to the cable that creates a strong, stable electrostatic field to "bias" the insulation, reducing phase distortion.
  • Graphene & Global Carbon: Layers that trap and dissipate radio-frequency (RF) interference before it reaches the signal.
  • Directionality: All 19 conductors are direction-controlled to ensure RF noise is drained away from sensitive components.
