Core Features & Engineering Updates

  • Concentric Driver Array: The signature feature of the Uni-Fi series is its 3-way concentric driver, which places a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter inside the center of a 4-inch aluminum midrange cone. This acts as a single point source, aligning high and mid frequencies for exceptional imaging and soundstage coherence.

  • Redesigned Bass Drivers: Uses three 5.25-inch single-piece dished aluminum woofers. The rigid single-piece design paired with oversized magnets provides tighter, faster, and more dynamic bass performance compared to the original Uni-Fi towers.
  • Easier Load for Amplifiers: The original Uni-Fi series had a steep 4-ohm nominal impedance that was notoriously tough on budget receivers. The Uni-Fi 2.0 updates redesign the crossover to maintain a 6-ohm nominal impedance, making it far easier to power with standard AV receivers or integrated amps.
  • Reinforced Enclosure: Built with thick MDF and internal bracing to reduce cabinet resonance, along with three rear-firing flared bass reflex ports.
