Grado W-Pads (GW100)

Design and Compatibility:

• They are the standard stock ear pads for the Grado GW100 (and GW100x) wireless headphones.

• The W-Pads are designed to only fit the GW100 series and are not officially intended for or compatible with Grado's other wired headphones (which typically use S-Cushions, L-Cushions, or G-Cushions).

• Like most stock Grado pads, the W-Pads are made of foam. Grado is known for using different densities and designs of foam to shape the sound signature of their headphones.

   

• Acoustic Role:

  • The design of the W-Pads is crucial to the acoustic performance of the GW100. Grado had to engineer the GW100 as an open-back wireless headphone with minimal sound leakage, and the W-Pad design is an integral part of achieving that specific sound profile and acoustic goal
