Designed primarily to partner with their ultra-high-end audiophile DAC line (such as the MERGING+NADAC and MERGING+PLAYER), it serves as a central timing reference to eliminate jitter and timing errors in precision digital audio systems.

Core Technology

At its heart, the unit relies on an instrument-grade Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) paired with a proprietary Q Damping System. Because temperature fluctuations cause slight frequency drifts in crystal oscillators, the OCXO houses the crystal inside a temperature-controlled chamber to ensure frequency consistency.
