Nordost’s Norse 2 Series brings the cutting-edge performance of their reference lines to a more accessible level. The Frey 2 Power Cord employs Nordost's proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology, wrapping a precision FEP filament around each conductor before extruding an outer FEP sleeve to create an air-dielectric barrier that dramatically reduces mechanical and electrical losses.
Built with 5 x 16 AWG silver-plated 99.99999% solid-core OFC conductors and mechanically tuned spacing, it achieves a propagation velocity of 85% the speed of light and a low DC resistance of 4.0 Ω/1000ft. This delivers lightning-fast current delivery, wider dynamic contrast, and an ultra-low noise floor.
