Core Philosophy: The 25MHz Edge

While the industry standard for word clocks has traditionally been 10MHz, Silent Angel advocates for 25MHz as the native frequency for network-based audio. The Genesis GC provides a native 25MHz signal (switchable to 10MHz), which eliminates the need for internal frequency conversion in modern network switches and streamers, theoretically reducing jitter and "digital glare."

The Genesis GC is a "finishing touch" component. If your system already has a high-quality streamer and DAC, adding the GC (and a compatible switch like the N8C) is meant to squeeze out that final 10% of transparency and musicality. However, it does require your other components to have a BNC word clock input to function.
